Purpose

The purpose of this discussion is to practice reading short texts, understand their themes, and apply these themes to real-life situations.

Read the chosen fable and think about the theme/message. The theme/message is listed as a separate sentence at the end of each fable.

  1. Think about another situation that this theme/message applies to. This situation could be from your life, from a book you’ve read, from a movie, etc.
  2. Write a post in which you describe that situation and explain how the theme/message from your chosen fable applies to it. Make sure to include the title of your chosen fable and the link to it (100 words minimum).
