The relevance of early life and psychodynamic ideas to integrative
transpersonal psychotherapy.

life/psychodynamic theories from the list below:

It is very
important that you demonstrate a depth of understanding of early life theory
and unconscious communication (transference and countertransference). Use the
diploma reading list and CCPE handouts to inform your ideas and writing.

2.
Critically evaluate the relevance of early life and psychodynamic theories
plus ideas of unconscious communication to integrative transpersonal
psychotherapy.

3.
Critically review and link the theories with client (or if you do not have a
clinical example, then personal examples are permitted) examples, to
demonstrate how your chosen theories informed your understanding of:

(a) the
client’s (or personal) issues;

(b) your
relationship with the client (or whoever you choose for your example); and

(c) the
interventions you used.

The client
or personal example you give must be directly related to the theory you have
critiqued. For example, if you have written about Klein’s paranoid-schizoid
and depressive position your example must reflect this. If client work is
insufficient, the use of personal examples is acceptable.
