For this assignment, you are being asked to conduct an organizational analysis of your organization with regard to the degree to which it is anti-racist and is consistent with the principles and ethics of social justice. You are not simply being asked if your organization provides services that are culturally competent, but you are also being asked to describe how the organization is structured or operates in ways that are conducive to inclusion and adhere to principles of social justice. You must include a thorough discussion of the needs of the community the organization serves and the ultimate impact on the quality of programming with this community. This assignment can be based on the agency where you are currently completing your practicum, the agency where you are employed, or an agency for which you have interned or worked in the past.
You are expected to take time throughout the semester to gather information about your organization, and based on what you are learning each week in class, reflect on the organization’s characteristics and whether and how they contribute to anti-oppression, anti-racism, inclusivity, and social justice. Please keep in mind that each of the factors below may be related to or impact each other, which should also be discussed in the analysis. Create a powerpoint that addresses each area and submit for this assignment.

- Please describe the role of leadership in facilitating or impeding efforts to create an inclusive, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and socially just organization.
- Please discuss how supervision, staffing, performance evaluation, and professional development training are analyzed to ensure their effectiveness in the organization.
- Share how the sources of funding and funding requirements affect organizational functioning, including staffing, equitable access to services, services provided, and gaps in necessary services.
- Please describe the implications for the delivery of services and the impact on the community being served.
- Reflect on your own positionality, role, and status at the organization and how this has influenced your experience there.
