Please read carefully and follow instructions accordingly. This is a Systematic Literature Review resarch paper. (min 100 sources paper of Harvard style 3rd editions) 8000 to 12000 word counts.
Identifying Future Research Directions
The supervisor highlighted the need to analyse the future research directions suggested in published papers.
This is a common requirement in Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) and is essential for defining the next steps in the field.
Theoretical Foundations in the Field
One of the research questions should focus on: What are the theoretical foundations in the field?
Understanding the key theories used in relevant studies is essential.
Since PhD research must contribute theoretically, the SLR will help establish the theoretical framework for the dissertation.
Purpose of the SLR Paper
The SLR is a key part of the dissertation, specifically forming the literature review section.
Unlike a traditional literature review, an SLR requires answering structured research questions systematically.
The primary goal is to gain a broad understanding of the research landscape before the 9-month review.
Research Questions Refinement
The following research questions were discussed and finalised:
What are the optimisation approaches in cold chain logistics?
What are the key challenges affecting cold chain logistics?
How do regulatory policies and company standards affect cold chain logistics?
What are the optimisation approaches and technological advancements that improve the efficiency and reliability of cold chain logistics?
Plus adding 3 additional questions
Methodology Requirements:
The methodology section must include a PRISMA chart detailing:
The search queries used (e.g., in Scopus, Web of Science, etc.).
The inclusion and exclusion criteria applied to filter studies.
A step-by-step filtering process leading to the
final selection of articles.
The PRISMA chart must clearly document the article selection process (e.g., from an initial pool of studies to the final selected papers).
Writing the SLR Paper
The structure of the SLR paper should strictly follow published SLR papers in the field.
Specifically, the following sections must be developed:
– Introduction
– Research Questions including Research Gaps
– Methodology
The methodology section must be clear and detailed, aligned with the structure of published SLR papers.
The supervisor has shared relevant SLR examples for reference, and these should be followed closely.
Add some related Graphics and tables which are related to the topic
