If these individuals are not able to give you all the information you need, please ask them to refer you to sources where you can obtain it. You must interview at least one person and provide proper citation or credit to all your sources, including any research from the organization’s website or one of its publications. Not doing so constitutes plagiarism.
Please supply actual quotes from your interview throughout, and answer the questions in narrative form. Specifically, comment on whether or not you agree with what you have learned based on the limited time you have spent at the organization.
- The primary purpose of the organization (its mission) and where you fit into the organizational structure. How is your department organized? Or, if you are in a smaller organization, describe the key roles that make the organization run.
- Who are the key customers or constituents that your organization serves?
- What is your organization’s social media presence? Does it regularly use any social media outlets to communicate or promote its products or services ? How does it use these tools (i.e. daily/weekly/periodic promotion of sales, events, news, announcements, etc.?)
- Watch the Organizational Culture lecture. Which of those environments does your internship culture reflect best? Please provide specific examples to support your assertion. For example, How are decisions made? and how does work get done? Finally, please state whether you believe that you fit into this culture. If so, why? Or, do you prefer a different type? If so, why?
- A mixture of all cultures, but mostly competitive as it is a sales driven job and company. Jd global access – styles that only our company has – cages and wall flow of shoes and clothes are free will, we are able to present our product freely with limited help that we get in visual merchandising packs. very heavy on collabortion with visual teams, area managers and employees to ensure work gets done correctly and on time. Everything is structured. I believe i do fit in this culture, as i get to experience everything. if you need any more feedback from me please ask! I’ve worked for the company for 8 and a half years so i have the knowledge.
