This paper is a research paper that shows my support for House Bill HB1031. My paper needs headings at the beginning of each paragraph as follows:
- Introduction; Identify the legislation by number, sponsor, party affiliation, and its current status in the legislature in detail.
- Provide an overview of the legislation as a healthcare issue. (minimum of one page).
- Discuss the intent and specifications of the proposed legislation.
- Analyze the implications (pros and cons)for the profession of nursimng and the public if the proposal is enacted including cost and quality considerations.
- Develop a position statement and a written statement (letter)to promote your position. The audience for your letter would be a professional organization, legislator, or policymaker. Explain in the section why you took this position and why you believe the person or group you are addressing should take your position on the policy.
- Conclusion. Summarize the key points of your analysis and advocay strategy.
