My goal is to write a master’s thesis on the topic of how better entrepreneurship education can contribute to the business growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Estonia. I have collected a lot of materials about company growth factors and previous studies, and I want to use the framework document “Systematic development of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education in Estonia” to find connections between my research work and helping Estonian SMEs.
Theoretical part should consist of chapters:
1. Theoretical background and explanation of definitions
Use the attached materials to get started and give an overview of the factors of business growth and offer a theoretical overview of the concepts of business growth and expansion. All material used should be cited. Consider that it would help to create a theoretical framework for research in the thesis and place the chosen topic in a wider context.
2.Analysis of previous studies and resources
Please note that in my opinion, the analysis of previous studies clearly shows that entrepreneurial competencies are crucial for the success and growth of a company. Leadership and networking competencies are particularly important, as well as the ability to identify and exploit opportunities and professional knowledge and skills. This chapter should use the attached documents to focus on previous research on business growth and expansion, analyzing the resources and research methods used. This chapter provides a good foundation for the research, placing it in a wider scientific context and showing the importance of the chosen topic.
3.Framework document analysis
Please note that the framework document focuses mainly on entrepreneurship education and its development in the Estonian education system. The document is not directly aimed at creating a business growth model. However, it provides important information about entrepreneurial competencies and their development, which are directly related to the success and growth of companies.
Analyze the entrepreneurial competence model presented in the framework document and the possibilities of its implementation in the context of Estonian SMEs. Consider that the framework document emphasizes the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset and proposes a model of entrepreneurial competence that can be implemented in the Estonian education system. The document also outlines the professional sub-competences that are necessary for starting a business and for successful operation. These include discovering business opportunities, understanding the environment and financial literacy. Take these things into account and in this chapter you should analyze how these sub-competences could be effectively developed in the context of Estonian SMEs. In addition, the framework document points out that the process of discovering opportunities does not take place in isolation and it requires good orientation of the participants in the business environment. Analyze the Estonian business environment and highlight the opportunities and threats faced by Estonian SMEs.
