Before submitting the full paper, we will share each other’s papers in an informal manner in the last class of the semester on December 5. The purpose of this presentation is to share your research output and get feedback so that you can improve your final paper. The full paper will be due on Monday, December 16. I expect that the final research paper will represent your very best work in terms of both the quality of your ideas and the quality of your writing. Accordingly, you should plan on completing your paper well before the deadline, so that you have time to revise. Proposal requirements, presentation requirements, and paper grading rubrics will be distributed later in the semester in due course. I have attached what I have drafted for the paper as to give details on the specifics of the assignment.
