Introduction

This week you learned about the process of creating a prioritized list of internal and external risks to the organization and quantifying various organizational cyber risk elements. This assignment is designed to support your application of that knowledge. Specifically, you will apply that knowledge for the development of a prioritized list and related calculations for the specific organization you selected in Lesson 1.

Instructions

Write a paper that includes the following information:

• Create a prioritized list of common internal and external sources of risk and assess internal and external threats and vulnerabilities to inform decision-making efforts to reduce organizational cyber risk for the organization you chose in Lesson 1.
• Develop a paper to demonstrate through narrative and specific mathematical examples how cybersecurity risk is quantified.
• Perform the necessary calculations and provide an interpretive analysis of what the results mean and how this informs cybersecurity decision-making for the organization.

Length: 8 page paper, not including title and references pages.
References: For this assignment use course resources and no less than 4 peer-reviewed recent resources from the NCU library or appropriate additional standards and frameworks.
