Hotel giant Marriott International has suffered a data breach, with hackers stealing 20 gigabytes of sensitive information, including guests’ credit card information, identify and analyze the legal & ethical responsibilities of the hotel/ company towards stakeholders. The legal responsibilities should comply with the local laws of the country the incident took place.
Besides the company’s responsibilities and appropriate support from relevant frameworks, your analysis should also include a critical evaluation of whether these requirements were met, and if not, realistic prevention and improvement measures supported by industry best practices should be provided.
