QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH ON Job satisfaction in the Public Sector of Cyprus: Measuring the impact of Pay, Promotions, and Contingent Rewards by Gender in the Central Administration. THE QUESTIONNAIRE WAS DONE THROUGH GOOGLE FORMS BUT THE EXCEL FILE SHOULD BE ENCODED IN ENGLISH. AND TRANSFER TO THE SPSS PROGRAM WHERE THE ANALYSIS WILL BE DONE. ALSO I SHOULD MENTION HOW THE ANALYSIS WAS DONE. IN THE PROPOSAL WE MENTIONED THAT 

All variables will be analysed descriptively with categorical data, expressed as frequencies and proportions, whereas pies and charts will be used to visually describe them. All numeric variables will be expressed by their mean values and standard deviations. The internal consistency of the questionnaire will be measured by using the Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient Index. The normality of the variables will be assessed by the Kolmogorov Smirnov instead of Shapiro Wilk test due to the large size of the sample. Depending on the results of the normality test, will either employ parametric or nonparametric inferential statistics, such as Pearson`s or Spearman`s correlation to examine the relationships between the JSS and other variables of interest, such as job characteristics, demographic variables. ANOVA test or t-tests will be used to compare job satisfaction levels between different groups.

THE QUESTIONNAIRE IS THE JSS (JOB SATISFACTION SURVEY, BY SPECTOR) WHICH CONSISTS OF 36 QUESTIONS THAT HAVE A POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE QUESTION, covering 9 dimensions of job satisfaction (ATTACHED IS THE QUESTIONNAIRE AND THE SCORING THAT INCLUDES THE DIMENSIONS AND THE CORRESPONDING ERO TENSIONS IN EACH DIMENSION) . ACCORDING TO THE TITLE OF THE DIPLOMATIC, THE 3 DIMENSIONS WHICH ARE PAY, PROMOTIONS AND CONTIGENT REWARDS WILL BE EXAMINED.
I HAVE PUT THE HYPOTHETICAL QUESTIONS BELOW HOWEVER I WOULD LIKE YOUR GUIDANCE IN CASE THE RESULTS DO NOT MATCH THE ANALYSIS. H1. there is a positive correlation between pay and job satisfaction among civil servants in the Central administration. and this correlation is stronger for males employee compared to female employees h2. Female civil servants perceive fewer opportunities for promotion compared to male employees , which leads to lower overall satisfaction among women . h3. contingent reward have positive impact on job satisfaction for female than for male h4 . the combined effect of pay, promotions and contingent rewards effects overall job satisfaction based on the gender. h4. increase of pay , promotion opportunities and greater contingent rewards have a positive relation with the overall job satisfaction among civil servants , regardless of gender
