Discussion

This is the most important chapter of your Thesis, as it represents the original, intellectual work. Identify the significant aspects of your Findings, what new insights they provided, and what new questions they may have elicited. Discuss all of this vis a vis the existing scholarly literature in the field, which you reviewed in Chapter II. (Do not make mention of any literature that you did not review in that chapter.) How do your Findings align with the literature? Do they contradict it? Challenge it? Support it? Fill gaps in it?
This Discussion should hark back to your original Research Question, both in how you choose to scaffold the chapter and in the way you evaluate the value of your Findings. You may find it useful to organize your Discussion around the same themes you identified in your Findings chapter.
Conclude your chapter with a brief summary.
