6. Each section of the paper should follow the following basic structure:
a. Data: One page or so.
b. Graphics: One per concept, usually takes up half a page or so.
c. Analysis a few paragraphs. This is the most important part!

d. Do a PESTEL analysis with respect to their major brand or product line.
e. What does this data indicate for this company in the short run and the long run?
II. Marketing
a. Briefly describe their major product/service lines.
b. Describe the company’s current Promotional mix in detail.
c. Who is the target market for their major product/service?
d. Select a product from this firm and describe its positioning vis-a-vis competitors.
e. What does this data indicate for this company in the short run and the long run?
III. Operations, Organization and Technology
a. How is this company organized and departmentalized?
b. Describe their operations, manufacturing, and other technologies in detail.
c. Explore and explain how they manage their supply chain – be very specific here.
d. What are their real estate holdings and how do they manage their facilities differently
from the other firms in their industry?
e. What does this data indicate for this company in the short run and the long run?
IV. Finance
a. Review the firm’s Income Statement (aka: P&L or statement of operations) for the
last 5 years. Provide a chart that shows Revenues and Net Income for the most recent
5-7 years available. Analyze the trends and patterns you observe.
b. Review the firm’s Balance Sheet for the most recent 5-7 years available. Include a barchart that shows Cash (and Cash equivalents) and Overall Debt for those years.Analyze the trends and patterns you observe.
c. Provide following ratios and metrics for all 5-7 years:
I. Current Ratio, Debt/Equity Ratio, and Inventory Turnover Ratio. Compare
these with the Industry Ratios for this company.
ii. How do they measure up and how would you describe the reasons for the
differences?
d. Provide the following information regarding their stock for the past 5 years:
I. EPS, P/E Ratio, Market Cap and Share Price.
ii. How do they compare to their major competitor in these areas?
e. What does this data indicate for this company in the short run and the long run?
