This paper presents a practice-based framework for advancing holistic care intelligence within family systems, drawn from over two decades of lived contribution by Prof. hc Loh Youk Kum. Bridging experiential caregiving, geriatric dignity, and value-based legacy planning, the framework proposes an integrative model that humanises caregiving across life stages. Rooted in Asian familial traditions and enriched by alternative care methods including Chinese traditional medicine (TCM) and natural therapy, the framework outlines a structured yet adaptable approach to managing emotional, spiritual, and practical transitions—particularly in eldercare and end-of-life contexts. It contributes to the academic dialogue on caregiving science, policy, and spiritual continuity by elevating applied wisdom into a structured knowledge system.
