Background
Identify 5 peer-reviewed journal articles that focus on current research on your objective and on current health prevention/promotion initiatives focusing on the public health issue.
Your tasks: Identifying five APA References
Research your small topic. Identify five peer-reviewed, evidence-based articles from health-focused journals in databases suggested in the Library Resource folder. When identifying articles, make sure that they are:
- From a peer-reviewed journal
- Less than three (3) years old β Articles older will have points deducted so make sure to keep a close eye on the date!
- Three (3) Articles must be about current research on the chosen objective.
- Two (2) articles must be related to current health prevention/promotion initiatives to alleviate/improve the public health issue that the objective focuses on.
Preparing your document
- In the top left corner, include your name, the assignment, the topic and the objective within HealthyPeople 2030 being addressed. (This is the topic and objective you chose)
- List the five (5) references on your topic, in APA format from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals. ONLY peer-reviewed, evidence-based journal articles will be accepted.
This assignment is to demonstrate your understanding of referencing a peer-reviewed journal article in APA format (five articles). The five articles will all address the same topic/objective.
Use only APA format: author (s), (year), Title, Journal, volume, page, doi. (Note: “retrieved from” will not be accepted.) PLEASE review the βAPA Formatting and Citation Guideβ folder on the left side Blackboard menu.
