I need my fine upload rewritten to avoid plagairism. Here are the instructions. Final Portfolio (due week 4, Wednesday July 2, 2025) The Research Portfolio is the culmination of the work you have completed for Cohort Research Logs 1-6. The portfolio will turn the research logs you’ve done in this class into one cohesive whole and will represent all of the research you have done for this course. It is made up of an annotated bibliography and a page of reflection on the sources you found for the bibliography. The final research portfolio is the final for this course. It is worth 200 points and it is due on Wednesday July 2, at 11:59pm. I will give no extensions and accept no late work except in the case of an extreme circumstance which you have discussed with me in advance. Follow the steps listed below to build your research portfolio, then upload the finished portfolio as a Word document or PDF to this assignment. Here is an example: Final Research Portfolio here. Step 1 – Create a Title Page Please begin your portfolio by creating a title page. To create a title page: Please list the title of the portfolio. The title of your portfolio should be the research question you have been researching for my class this semester. The title should be centered in the upper middle of the page. Below your title, please list: Your name Bakersfield College Course number and name (LIBR B1) My name Assignment due date (March 8, 2024) Take a look at the Final Research Portfolio example to see how this should look. Step 2 – The Annotated Bibliography Choose the best 4 sources you’ve found in your previous Research Logs for this class. If you completed all 6 Research Logs, you should have 12 sources to choose from. Think about the ones that: Have high evaluative marks (ideally scores of 12 and higher for DAPPR) You think are most useful for your topic. All 4 sources that you choose must be sources you found in Research Logs 3-6. If you do not have 4 sources from Research Logs 3-6 that you feel good enough about to include in, please get in touch with me! Please cite the 4 sources you chose using MLA citation (or the citation style you have been using the entire semester so far). Please list your citations alphabetically by author last name. In addition, please use hanging indents for your sources. If you do not know how to use hanging indents, here are instructions on how to use them in Microsoft Word or in Google Docs For each of the sources you just cited, you will write an annotation (paragraph) evaluating why you chose this source for college-level research on your topic. You will put a paragraph of evaluation below each of your 4 citations. Each evaluation paragraph must include: 2-3 sentences evaluating this source. You can use SIFT, or DAPPR What rubric did you choose to evaluate this source, and why? Please be sure to provide a link to your rubric if using one not discussed in class. How did you score this source using the appropriate rubric? Why did you score this source this way, and what makes it a good source for college-level research? 2-3 sentences explaining why this source would be useful for your class topic. Make sure to answer all 3 of the following questions: What made you choose this source? Why is this source more useful than other sources you found? What about this source particularly makes it helpful for your topic? Remember that the reflections you did in your Cohort Research logs will help you create annotations for each source! Step 3 – Reflection Please write respond to the questions below. You must answer all 5 of the questions, and your response should be at least 1 double-spaced page in length. You do not need to have a thesis, or to use extremely formal language. Instead, I am looking for your genuine thoughts. What was your favorite thing you learned this semester and why? Thinking back to your research for Research Logs 3-6, which was the most difficult type of source for you to find (internet source, news source, book/eBook, or scholarly journal article)? Why do you think that was? Think about how you chose the 4 sources you put into this portfolio. What made you choose those sources? How did your personal values help you decide what types of sources you would use and how you would find those sources? We looked at multiple ways to evaluate sources throughout the course. Which rubric did you like best, and why? Which rubric did you like the least, and why? Criteria Please follow all steps to create a research portfolio that contains: a title page, an annotated bibliography of 4 sources on the topic you have been researching this semester, and a page of reflection on your research process this semester. Here is an example of the Final Research Portfolio. The final research portfolio is due on December 6 at 11:59pm and is worth 200 points. Please upload your final to Canvas as a Word document or PDF. I will give no extensions and accept no late work except in the case of an extreme circumstance which you have discussed with me in advance.
