     • End of Summary includes Cited Research References in APA Style – as the 3rd page after your synopsis

• Students will likewise view and comment on a MINIMUM of 2 other classmate’s presentations by 11pm WED of Finals Week 

  • Views & comments/questions on more than 2 of your classmates’ presentations can earn extra credit points (by WED)

  • If you respond to questions from classmates regarding YOUR own presentation, you can also earn extra credit points if responses are completed by 11pm WED 

Tips for the FILM PROJECT:

• The PowerPoint presentation can best be described as a visual topic paper, in which you will present the 4 chosen theories you think align with the ethical dilemmas/issues you see being discussed in the film.

  • Rather than me giving you specific topic prompts to address, you are to determine what ethical dilemmas/issues exist in the film and its subject matter, then discuss those issues within the construct of your 4 chosen ethical theories. 

• Your summary is just that: a quick overview of the presentation (think of it like a printout the viewer would have in front of them while clicking through your slides). This is where you will have your in-text citations and end references.

  • You are welcome to post a final slide with your references in your presentation, but it is not required. 

• Your end summary should have the following:

  • Cover page

  • Summary (2 full pages min, 3-4 pgs max) with in text citations and proper APA headings (just like in a Topic Paper)

    • Be sure to include a Running header, page numbers, and subheadings  (bold/centered) for each of your sections (Intro, 4 chosen theories, Closing)

  • End References in APA format

    • Be sure to cite both content references as well as all images used in the presentation
      • Image citation format: Photographer, F.M. (Photographer). (Year, Month Date of Publication). Title of Photograph [digital image]. Retrieved from URL

  • Reminder: the cover page and references do not count towards the 2 page minimum.
