(Exploring the Association Between COVID-19 Vaccination and Menstrual Cycle Alterations: A Social-Ecological Approach)
- Study Design:
- Clearly state that this is a secondary data analysis study in the “Study Design” section of Chapter 3 (Methodology).
- Ensure the “Design of the Study” section and any references to the methodology specify that the data were drawn from a previously collected dataset.
- Process Diagram:
- Insert a SmartArt process diagram (use Microsoft Word SmartArt – Process) illustrating the flow of data collection, cleaning, and analysis, under the subsection “Procedure for Data Collection” (Section 3.7).
- G*Power Calculation:
- Provide a clear explanation of the G*Power calculation used to determine the sample size.
- Include screenshots of the actual G*Power input and output screens (insert as figures in Chapter 3, under Section 3.4 “Sample Size”).
- Ensure that the explanation aligns with the values already included in the current text.
- REDCap Version:
- Indicate in the methodology (Section 3.2 or 3.5) the version of REDCap used at the time of data collection (check your original project info on REDCap).
- Open Questions and Variables:
- Ensure that open-ended questions used in the survey are listed or described in the Methodology (Section 3.6.4).
- Provide a complete list of variables (independent, dependent, control), categorized appropriately, in Section 3.6.
- Survey Promotion:
- Add a subsection in Chapter 3 detailing the promotion/recruitment strategy used for the survey—such as social media campaigns, flyers, institutional emails, or word-of-mouth.
- Include this in the subsection “Recruitment via Social Media Platforms” or as a new short subsection.
- Analysis Plan:
- Add at the start of the Analysis Plan (Chapter 4):
- “Primary analysis will use multivariable logistic regression to assess associations between COVID-19 vaccination status and menstrual cycle outcomes.”
- Ensure that the entire statistical analysis section clearly reflects that logistic regression is the central method used.
- References Review:
- Review all references to ensure:
- They follow APA 7th edition style.
- No citations appear in the text using “et al.”; instead, list all authors in both in-text citations and reference list (APA 7 requires listing up to 20 authors before using an ellipsis).
- All references are complete with DOI or URLs where available. DO THE CHANGES HERE Thesis_Dissertation_JOT_.docx
