You are a prospective teacher who will be observing a classroom to see how the teacher is applying the principles of the Science of Learning.

Requirements

You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course.

A. Choose one video that reflects your program area (elementary education or secondary education) from the list provided in the Web Links section to respond to the following:

1. Describe one principle of learning science seen in the selected video, and explain how it positively impacted learning.

2. Explain how you could use the described principle of learning science in your future classroom differently by writing a specific scenario in which you use it.

B. Acknowledge sources, using in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.

C. Demonstrate professional communication in the content and presentation of your submission.
