Do mixed race children from different backgrounds experience identity conflict differently?

To help you write the research paper you will complete several research paper
steps (always due on a Thursday). First, you will submit a brief one-page
summary description of the research paper topic and original research question
in Week 2. Second, you will submit a one page proposed research design and
justification that would be appropriate to the research goal and research topic
in Week 4. A draft of the full research paper is due in Week 5.

➢ Research Paper: Proposed Empirical Study (75 pts
total): Students will be taking an in-depth look at a topical issue in
psychology. In this assignment, students will find non-scholarly and scholarly
sources that focus on a central issue of interest. Students must include 4
non-scholarly sources from different sources (e.g., Psychology Today, People
Magazine, U.S World News, etc.) and 4 scholarly sources (i.e.,literature review
and empirical studies) in their research of the topic. Students will write up a
proposal for an empirical study that would help contribute knowledge to the
topic or resolve unanswered questions on the topic. The final draft of the
research paper is due in Week 7.
