Discussion Assignment: Acknowledge the importance of non-traditional college students – Group G

1. In your initial post, build one or more paragraphs centered on your experiences with, your perspectives on, or your insight into being a first-generation college student.  You do not need to be a first-generation college student to complete this assignment.
2. In a second section, build one or more paragraphs addressing this question:  What advice would you give to first-generation college students who are just starting out at Santa Fe?
3. In a third section, build one or more paragraphs that put forward the rhetorical strategies you used in sections one and two (examples of rhetorical strategies include — but are not limited to — direct address, informal word choice, emphasis on benefits to the reader, lists)

Consider a numbered list at some point in the assignment (for your list of goals, for example).  Introduce your numbered list with a useful introductory sentence, then complete the ‘frame’ for the list with a sentence of summary or analysis.
