Introduction
Students should briefly describe the impact of supplement intake on exercise performance.
Main Body
Students should briefly describe beetroot’s juice composition. In particular, describe the physiological role of nitric oxide (metabolic product of NO-3 occurring in beetroot juice) in human body and its effect on sports performance.
Furthermore, the students should discuss evidence concerning the effect of beetroot juice supplementation on athletic performance. More specifically, students should present a systematic review table with the latest data and discuss each study’s result.
Conclusion
Students are expected to summarize the information presented and draw a conclusion based on available evidence.
