gives some statement about what will be discussed in the essay 1x conclusion paragraph (max half page long): which summarises the points made in main body paragraphs and makes an overall statement that responds directly to the essay question set. The conclusion does NOT have any new info in it, the conclusion ONLY pulls together whatever you argued in the main body paragraphs 4 main body paragraphs (this is approximate based on filling around 1.5 pages, 800-1000 words): remember in an essay each paragraph makes a different point specifically related to the essay question. The point/argument/purpose/theme of the main body para needs to be stated in the first sentence of the para. The rest of the paragraph content must be on that same point/theme only and should summarise 2 or more different sources of evidence/explanations/reasons for that point. You may (or may not) then want to end each paragraph with a statement relating the info back to the essay question (i.e. what the evidence means in terms of the essay question). Reference list: which should follow APA format and style strictly. It should list ONLY the actual references you mentioned within the text. This will be at least 10 academic sources (minimum 2 per main body paragraph as the basic requirement)
