This is the first step of the Critical Media Analysis. I have identified a current event that took
place between 19 and 20 September 2023 when the Azerbaijan launched a military attack against the self-declared breakaway state of Artsakh, a moved seen as a violation of the ceasefire agreement signed in the aftermath of the 2nd Nagorno-Karabah War in 2020. See attached Historical Background between
the country of Azerbaijani and Nagorno-Karabakh, also known as the Republic of Artsakh,
goverened and populated by ethnic Armenians. Please read the historical context attached. Please read the Media Analysis Project-Determing Frame doc. This is where you will find
the assignment that needs to be answered. I also attached a document with 4 news articles I have chosen that discussed the same event.
I also chose Article 3 “Everyone has the right to life, lierty, and security of person.” as the human right. (See attached UDHR) .
Like I said this is the first step of a major writing assignment “Critical Media Analysis” how the articles I chose were framed.
