You are completing this in a video; YOUR POWERPOINT suffices for the description part…you can talk about your plan…you do NOT need to hand in a paper. Your info will come across in your Powerpoint video. There should be between 4-6 lessons [these are the ideas of lessons, not actual PLANS]. In your Powerpoint, you can highlight parts of the lessons. You are only handing in a Powerpoint (video with voiceover-you don’t have to be in the video) and 2 lesson plans.
(If you do not want to do the Powerpoint video, you are welcome to hand a paper in). I’m VERY flexible with product (what you hand in) as I want it to work for YOU.
An idea: Your Unit can be about Being Body Positive which can consist of a few plans (Affirmations, Taking Care of Your Self-Talk, Accepting Compliments, Giving Compliments, and Accepting What You Cannot Change), and your two plans can be about Affirmations and Taking Care of Your Self-Talk.
A good website for Unit ideas: Understood.orgLinks to an external site.
From the syllabus: Create and share via video a social-emotional unit appropriate for elem. grades, with two sample lesson plans from the unit.
So you can create a Powerpoint with the Unit and the smaller plans, then share what two lessons would look like in that Unit.\
