Complete a VRIO or Value Chain analysis, a PESTLE analysis, and a Five Forces model for an organization. Prepare a 3–6-page executive report that analyzes the internal and external environments of the organization and recommends a course of action based on the analysis.

- 1. I don’t clearly see a discussion on the 3 components of the AFI framework here, this needs a section of its own and this should be the first section the reader sees. There was a lot of discussion about the firm but need to integrate these concepts more within the AFI framework in this section and this should be the first section in your paper, and it should talk about each of the 3 AFI elements. This whole section can be done in about 1/4 – 1/2 of a page of focused narrative, segmented into 3 sub-sections. ”
- I can’t find a section that specifically addressed this element.This should be the 2nd section that the reader sees. This needs a section of its own to focus your narrative on only this topic and there are a lot of sources out there for references.
- First of all, you only need to use EITHER VRIO or Value Chain, but don’t use both. But in this case, if you use VRIO, you need a much larger narrative section to provide more specific evidence to support your evaluation on your graphic here, and the citing of that evidence. Also, do not talk about what ‘could affect’ the company, but what IS affecting this company, today. In your narrative about V-R-I-O, you can have 4 elements to discuss here around EACH of the key resources/capabilities you’ve identified, and should organize and label according to those 4 elements, exactly. Alternatively, you could clearly organize your narrative around each of the key capabilities/resources you’ve identified here. If you use the VC, then you need more evidence/examples/facts for your narratives here, there’s a lot of adjectives but little evidence.

The elements of PESTLE are clearly showing but you’ve only provided generalized assertions of these elements but what would help is if you ‘completed the thought’ by telling the reader JUST HOW how each element IS AFFECTING your company here, not just what ‘can affect’ the company. You are DEFINING but not ANALYZING using each of the PESTLE elements based on points of evidence/facts/examples. The same applies to your 5 Forces as well.
- The paper is well organized into major sections and this is vital, good work here. However, there is a general lack of providing supporting evidence throughout the paper. You need to clearly display more specific and technical knowledge taken from your assigned readings and cite accordingly both using in-text citing and a reference page at the end of the document. Then you need to find references just about the company on the web. I see very little evidence that you cited from online research about this company.
