The paper should be broken up into Topic & Focus, Personal experience, Literature review, recommendations.
The Final Essay should have the following 4 components:
A. Introduction : Succinctly introduce what you wrote in ther assignment, such as your topic, literature review, and recommendation.
В. Topic and Focus: Provide a description of and reflections on your internship experience. This may be in first-person narration; in other words, you may say “I did,” “I observed,” etc.
C. Literature Review: Synthesize the literature into a coherent whole that supports your focus. You must review at least 8 reputable sources.
D. Recommendation: Make a recommendation on how to improve your internship site or the criminal justice system: Use the evidence you uncovered in your literature review to make a specific recommendations). This recommendation can include making a change or continuing to do something good that they are already doing. Again, think broadly and creatively. The most important thing in this section is that your recommendation is grounded in facts, not just opinions.
