For this assignment, you will select and define a current special program/diversity topic, issue, dealing with a specific demographic population. You will research the topic, issue, or initiative and write an analysis paper on the topic or issue and/or prepare a description of the process(es) or procedure(s) to initiate the building of an inclusive culture. Your instructor should have approved your topic in Module/Week 2.

Your paper should clearly identify work including materials and discussions, sources found through an electronic database, and your own thoughts in a well-developed, cogent paper. References should be viewed as additional pages and the focus should be on the applied role of the principalship… i.e. what the principal should know about this topic.

Your paper must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document in current APA formatting. A minimum of 4 references is required from current, peer-reviewed journals and/or professional literature, published within the past 5 years. The paper should be submitted in current APA format and should be 4-6 pages or 1500-2000 words in length. Your overview of the ideas/research on the topic should be at least 500-1000 words.

In your paper, you should also include a Professional Reflective Synthesis of at least 300-500 words. Here are a few questions to address in this section

• Why did you choose this topic and how would you address/work with it as an Educational Administrator?
