This assignment requires the submission of the scenario that you will create for your “client,” whom you will be interviewing for the first part of your final project, as well as a list of questions that you plan to ask him or her in the interview. First, submit your interview scenario, which should include a 1–2 paragraph description of the client’s situation and the trauma that has impacted his/her ability to function well.
The scenario should include the following information:
- Your role- case manager
- The needs of the fictional client- housing, employment, trauma therapy, domestic violence programs and assistance, child care legal assistance as well
- The type of trauma the client has experienced -PTSD
- How the trauma is impacting the client and his or her ability to function well- HAS ANXIETY
- The client’s strengths-WILLING TO WORK ON SELF AND WELL-BEING
- Legal standards applying to the client, legal and ethical requirements surrounding your interview, and the level of crisis management for the client
Additionally, include 10–15 (YOU CAN DO TEN QUESTIONS) questions that you would plan to ask your “client” that address the critical elements in the Final Project Part I Guidelines and Rubric document (i.e., how are you today? What brings you here today? etc.). The scenario and interview questions will be the base for your Final Project Prompt I: Interview.
What to Submit
Your 1–2 page interview scenario and interview questions must be submitted as a single Microsoft Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and any sources cited in APA format.
