For this week’s homework, you need to come up with three speech topics; one topic for informative speech, one topic for persuasive speech, and one topic for demonstration speech. Then, you would explain why each topic is appropriate for you, your audience, and the occasion.

Please note that these three topics are solely for this homework; they are not final. You may still change your topics later on if you want.

Also, please reply to at least two postings of your fellow classmates. Your replies need to be “substantive.”

Definition: A reply is “substantive” if it contributes to the discussion by adding information, asking an in-depth question, or providing an example. You will not receive points for replies that are simply greetings, statements of agreement or complements.
