Topic: Create a
Literature Review Paper about the Child /Elder Abuse Prevention and Treatment
Act and Reporting Statutes.
Objectives:
1- Examine
existing literature to evaluate the effectiveness of reporting statutes, as
outlined in the Child/Elder Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, in facilitating
early detection and intervention in cases of child and elder abuse.
2- Explore
literature to identify and analyze challenges faced in the implementation of
reporting statutes by mandated reporters, institutions, and authorities.

Investigate the barriers that may hinder effective reporting, including legal,
cultural, organizational, or systemic challenges.
4- Assess
the role of reporting statutes in ensuring adequate support and protection for
victims, considering factors such as access to services, counseling, and legal
assistance.
