In this activity, you prepare a short presentation with accompanying audio discussing the market segment and business model of your LBCP.
Launch Business Concept Proposal: Design
a vertical launch and landing spaceplane for suborbital tourism.
In your presentation, you will provide answers to the following questions with respect to your LBCP:
- What is the fundamental problem of space transportation you are addressing? For example, you may believe that many small satellites have schedule or mission requirements for a dedicated launch.
- What market segment is your launch service in (e.g., small, medium, heavy, or in-space)?
- What is your business model? Are you a launch service contracting directly with satellites? Or are you building launch hardware and delivering it to someone else to operate?
- What is your source of competitive advantage relative to sources of value in the industry?
Submit/attach a presentation with accompanying audio that is no more than five (5) slides and is not longer than five (5) minutes in length.
- View the presentations of at least two (2) of your classmates and share collegial comments and feedback no later than the end of the third day of the Module 3 week. This will encourage timely comments and discussions.
- To ensure that as many presentations as possible benefit from comments and feedback, you should not comment on a presentation with more than two (2) replies time-stamped before you submit your comments.
- Additional comments will, of course, be considered in grading this assignment.
- Your comments should address both the sources of strength in your colleagues’ presentations and specific suggestions for opportunities for improvement.
- Respond to comments posted to your presentation by your classmates and instructor.
