Students will complete a 10-minute presentation in Go React. Students will choose a population from the list provided. Students will research the population and critical issues of substance use disorders and behavioral addictions for that population. They will also research all possible ethical issues that are specific to that population. Students will choose one of the ethical issues and discuss possible solutions to that issue. Then students will discuss how THEY would resolve the ethical dilemma and why. This portion of the presentation should align with the Codes of Ethics learned about in week 1.

The presentation should include:
- A professional presentation with a PowerPoint/Canva/Prezi slide deck in APA formatting; references cited in text and a reference page;
- The population chosen. Explain the population, who is included in this group?
- Prevalence of substance use disorders and/or behavioral addictions (gambling, sex, technology/internet, shopping, food, work, plastic surgery)
- How are substance use disorders/behavioral addictions viewed in the population/culture? Include stigma, biases, view of treatment
- Consequences of use for this population (for example: high rates of suicide, social isolation, disowned, exiled, homelessness, financial stress and more)
- What are some ethical issues that arise in substance use for this population?
- How can those ethical challenges be resolved? What are the considerations for resolving them? USE the Codes of ethics.
- How YOU as a social worker would approach this population to engage with treatment and or resolve the substance use issues?
- How YOU as social worker would approach the ethical challenges that arise?
