- Evaluation Strategy: Develop a plan for evaluating the effectiveness of your intervention, addressing the following:
- Evaluation Framework: Select an appropriate evaluation framework, such as RE-AIM (Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, Maintenance) (opens in a new window), PRECEDE-PROCEED, the CDC Program Evaluation Framework (opens in a new window), or one from RHIhub (opens in a new window) to help guide your evaluation process.
- Evaluation Methods: Choose a mix of quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, pre-and post-tests, observations, and data analysis, to capture a comprehensive picture of the intervention’s impact.
- Data Collection: Develop a detailed plan for data collection, including data sources, collection methods, data management procedures, and ethical considerations.
- Data Analysis: Describe how you will analyze the collected data to determine the effectiveness of the program.
- Outcomes: Identify the specific outcomes you will measure, such as changes in knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, health indicators, or quality of life.
- Improvement Plan: Based on your evaluation findings, select one area of your intervention that could be improved.
- Analyze Evaluation Findings: Thoroughly analyze the results of your evaluation, identifying both successes and areas for improvement.
- Prioritize Areas for Improvement: Based on your analysis, select one or two key areas of your intervention that could be improved to enhance its effectiveness or sustainability.
- Rationale: Provide a clear rationale for your selection, explaining why these areas are critical for optimizing the intervention’s impact and long-term viability.
- Improvement Strategies: Using evaluation findings outlines specific strategies for implementing the improvement, considering available resources, potential challenges, and stakeholder input.
- Submit a written narrative of your evaluation and improvement plan in a 1000-1500 word paper by the deadline. Ensure to address the listed criteria above.
