C1: Intro small- what the assignments anout. Focus about skill of looking after caseload
Confodentiality starement
Breif overview of case load- working on sirgical ward and caring for 4 patients. Pa deteriorated p2 post op p 3 diff type twoc?
Not a story. In the middle of talking about theory and leadership
How did you manage tge patients and e.g Delegate obs to hca, literature to support the decision and critically talk about the literature say about effective delegation, Then talk about how it could have been challenging to ask a mode experienced staff member and Link up to some literature about how actually that’s a really common feeling for pre-registration nurses or something like that(critical commentary not reflection)
C2: critically reflect
Possible change to the day- example patient coming in that you didn’t originally need to see so like a post op patient infected wound? Or deteriorating patient- high news
Reflect on own performance not how the qualified RN did
Reflect im 3rd person only
C3: what clinical governance means
Example to incorporate: how did you adhere to the NMC code or national and local policies
Admission loose stools? Think about where to put theres no side room- trust policy to understand decision and what to do about it
Or audit completed to do it…
Local policy needs referencing local trust, 2025
Reference list: local trust, date, name of document. Link (bristol nhs)
C4: evaluate roles
Askimg for advice they havent told you to do it.
Deteriorated- needed to sort advice from microbiology for advise on antibiotic
Or worked with discharge liasions as you had an emergency admission
Physio- neede chest physio for deterioration.
C5:Apprendix: (before references)’
