Title: Communicating Sustainability through Experiential Retail Design: A Study of Interior Environments in Luxury Fashion Stores How do luxury fashion brands use spatial design and sensory experience to convey sustainable brand identity? 1.3 Research Aim The aım of this research ıs to explore how experiential interior design elements within luxury fashion retail environments influence consumer perception of sustainability and brand authenticity, with a focus on integrating biophilic and sensory design principles. 1.4 Research Objectives 1. To identify and analyze how sustainable luxury fashion brands utilize interior design strategies (e.g., natural materials, lighting, spatial flow, biophilic elements) to communicate environmental values. 2. To critically assess consumers perception of sustainability within experiential retail design. 3. To evaluate the impact of specific experiential and sensory design features on consumer engagement, emotional response, and perception of sustainability in luxury fashion spaces. 4. To develop a set of interior design guidelines booklet that support the communication of sustainable values in the luxury retail industry.
