Due May 13th at 11:59 pm I am looking for personal reactions, not for rehashed and lofty ideas found elsewhere. What are the various instances where fire is present? Think about the scenes where fire is present, and explain its meaning and significance in those scenes. 4. What does the mother symbolize? 5. What are the intimate scenes, and what do you think of the way they are filmed? 6. Make a parallel between the colors of the film and the colors of the painting 7. In your opinion, why does the film open on the scene where Marianne’s students are looking at her in order to draw her portrait? 8.
