      • You need to build on your proposal and ensure you explain and fully justify your approach step by step
        • Research Philosophy (e.g. interpretivisn, positivism etc)
        • Research Approach (primary qualitative, primary quantitative, secondary qualitative, secondary quantitative)
        • Data collection method (questionnaire, interviews, focus groups, desk research etc)
        • Sampling Strategy
          • If primary this relates to how participants will be selected and included as per lecture
          • If secondary, this relates to your selection of databases re where you will look for your answers.
        • Ethics and practical issues
        • Data Analysis Method
        • (primary only) – Designing Data Collection Instrument

      • Sources: Academic texts on methodology (use Saunders book as a starting point, also look in Sage database)
    • Chapter 4: Findings and Discussion
      • Present your findings in line with your research objectives e.g. findings that answer research objective 1, findings that address research objective 2 etc
      • Discuss your findings in the context of the literature you reviewed in your lit review e.g. how do your findings fit? Do they agree/disagree/complement existing literature etc
      • Please note, this is not an exgtended lit review and your “data” is not journal articles. You will simply revisiting journal articles you found in your literature review to help you frame your resuilts and make sense of the data you have collected
      • Word Count: 3000 words
    • Chapter 5: Conclusions. Recommendations and Learning Statement
      • Summarise your findings for each of your research objectives and make recommendations to future research (500 words)
      • Write a brief statement of learning (500 words) which outlines
        • What you have learned from the dissertation process
        • Your feelings towards writing a dissertation
        • What you would do differently if you could do it again
      • Word Count: 1000 words
