The selection of materials will prioritize durability, affordability, and suitability for different Ethiopian soil types to ensure long-term usability.

Additionally, an economic feasibility study will be carried out to compare the costs and benefits of the mechanized plow against traditional plowing methods. This analysis will assess production costs, potential savings for farmers, and the expected return on investment. Environmental considerations will also be addressed, focusing on soil conservation, reduced deforestation for land expansion, and improved land productivity.

By leveraging indigenous knowledge and mechanical innovations, this project aims to bridge the gap between traditional and modern farming techniques, fostering sustainable agricultural development in Ethiopia. The successful implementation of this multi-plow mechanized tool could significantly improve smallholder farmers’ livelihoods by reducing manual labor, increasing yields, and enhancing food security.
