Effectiveness of Educating Prisoners on Recidivism
Find three resources from a government source or academic research journal (these can be found in the university library or Google Scholar) and discuss the value of prisoners receiving higher education courses and diplomas. Is there enough evidence in the literature to support the cost and effort? How does the effort to educate prisoners correlate with reentry programs? Is there a correlation? If not, should there be and how would that look like?
Your response will be approximately 400 words and provide an overview of the three resources that culminate in your informed conclusion on the issue. Three points will be awarded for clearly incorporating each resource into your response, one point for an informed conclusion, and one point for a well-written submission (spelling, grammar, readability).
