Having reviewed the resource material on the ethical issues surrounding violence risk assessment, threat assessment, and the use of involuntary mental health evaluations related to determining the “danger to self and others,” write a paper in two sections.

• In the first section, you will explain what you consider to be the most important ethical concerns and challenges related to threat assessment.
• In the second section, you will use a case example to briefly illustrate an example of the important ethical points that you have illuminated. This case example can be a real-world case or a case you invent based on realistic parameters. In either case, in this section, there needs to be a brief overview of the case, followed by a discussion of how this case illustrates the ethical concerns or challenges you wish to highlight. 

Length: Five pages, not including the reference page.

References: You are required to include two additional resources beyond the lesson resources. 

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect graduate-level writing and APA standards. Be sure to adhere to the University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
