Finding a subject of interest to your is the first step in writing your paper. Next, you will gather information available and summarize the facts. You need a thesis statement that presents new information.
Suggested Topics
The topics available to write on are immense. Basically, your topic should relate to Earth Science. Some of you may choose a topic that is in the news such as Arecibo Space Radar Dish that was destroyed and the implications. Or you may want to explore the life of a note worthy scientist past or present such as Alfred Wegener or Neil de Grasse Tyson and their contributions to the field. Other ideas include general research on topics listed below.”

The paper needs to be typed with a 12 – point font, double spaced, one inch margins, carefully proofread, use of proper grammar/punctuation/citations and can range between 5 – 10 written pages in length.
A title page with your name comes first.
The Table of Contents is optional but highly recommended.
Illustrations, figures, diagrams and/or data tables should also be included.
A bibliography with at least three references properly cited.
Use the APA format and do not include your opinions in the paper.
An abstract is optional and will count as extra credit.”

I am choosing this topic as well as hurricane michael because i was there in Florida to experience it personally. These instructions should be enough to write the essay and complete it.
