This essay will be a Biography Report on the Book >”MIiracle Hill: The Story of a Navajo Boy” by Mitchell Blackhorse, published in 2004.
This report should be between 2400 and 2700 words long.
It should include the following components:
(a) a summary of what the book was about,
(b) how you feel the book reflected the cultural lifeways of the tribe, as we learned about it in class;
(c) in what ways the book did not reflect the typical tribal experience or lifeway, as we learned about it in class;
(d) how the lifeway described in the book differed from that of our modern 20th century lifestyle
(e) what you learned or took away from reading the book.
– You must use the Chicago Style Guide format for the paper, and you must use a consistent format
– Include the title of the book you are reporting on in your Title and first paragraph; no other citations are required or expected though you are welcome to include any that you wish.
– Papers will be graded on both content and grammar/organization/clarity of thought and writing.
