Attached is a guide to consider with a suggested word count for each session:
1).Introduction (approximately 300 words). In this session, introduce the critique and what the main body will cover.
2).Main body (approximately 2,400 words). Aim to meet the requirements of learning outcome 1 and 2 (LO1 & LO2). Suggestions of information to include are attached.
LO1 : Critically appraise leadership theories and their influences on health service provision.
– critically evaluate a range of different leadership theories you may employ and the skills and attributes that will benefit you in this role.
– critically evaluate the role of a leader and how this can influence the service as a result of your exploration of leadership theory.
– avoid using your word count to solely describe what leadership styles are – consider how elements of leadership styles and theory support your role as a leader in the implementation of service improvement.
LO2: Evaluate the implementation of quality improvement.
