Write essay comparison and contrast about how I have changed since starting college.
Facts about myself: I had separation anxiety prior to leaving for college. I cried and wanted to stay home and go to a local college. I was encouraged to attend college during the
summer to get acclimated to college life and being away from home. O must say, it has been the best decision of my life. I am focused on my future and my career. I am doing the “young” adult responsibilities of life. I am focused on academics not socializing. I know
when I have extra time in my schedule to socialize, self-care or just walking to gather my
thoughts. Dorm life is good, I am independent, arranging my schedule, assignments and
being the student of my dreams. I have always been an overachiever but this is harder
than i imagined. Although, college is not like high school, I made a 4.0 average this summer. I could have been more proud of myself for not giving up on myself and believing in my abilities to make it!
