Your paper is a literature review that is no less than ten full content pages typed, double spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font, with no more than 1 inch margins and no extra lines between paragraphs. These papers STRICTLY should follow APA 7th ed professional guidelines and standard rules of spelling and grammar. The paper must be on a topic on the history of psychology (before 1970). You may choose the topic. The instructor must approve of your topic before you begin writing. Please email me (*****************) to confirm that your chosen topic is suitable for the assignment. Note that once a topic is approved by me, no one else in class may have the same topic. Topics will be approved on a first come, first served basis.
The required paper and related elements will be worth 100 points. The minimum length is 10 pages (not counting title page, references, or abstract). If you turn in less than five pages of appropriate (on topic) content, you will receive a zero. It is expected that these papers will be scholarly and reflect your upper-division standing. This is a designated “Writing Across the Curriculum” course. As such we will place considerable emphasis on the written work in this class. Any plagiarism on any part of the paper assignments will result in a grade of ‘F’ for this class and will be reported to the University for disciplinary action, including the possibility of dismissal from the University. All work is to be done as an individual. Any use of paraphrasing generators is also considered plagiarism and will result in a zero.
