Here is a little background information about me. My name is Jhourney & I’m a well known popular individual. I have been this way since elementary. I’ve been bullied since the 9th grade by the same individual & still til this day, my senior year in high school, I am continuing to get bullied. My mom has done everything she could with the school by filing proper paper work with the school & local enforcement. I do by best by staying positive among it all.
1. Challenge & Growth: What challenges have you faced during your high school years that hae helped you grow as a person? BULLYING. How have these experiences shaped your charater and sense of responsibility? I have learned to ignore things & document & report everything & focus on my goal in school which is to keep my grades up, maintaing a 3.0 gpa & while focusing on pursing my career as a nurse.
2. Decision-Making: How has maturity influenced your decision making and the way you handle leadership roles or situation involving others? It has influenced my decision making & leadership role as a leader. I have always attracted people to me & was told I was a leader since I was in elementary school, all the kids wanted to be my friend. I am a all around social butterfly. I pose leadership skills & has joined several clubs since being in high school like FCCLA (Family, Career & Community Leaders of America), Real Estate Club, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Student Council, Scrub Club, UAMS Arkansas Delta HCOP Academy, and PATHWAYS Academy & also campaigning for a spot on the Watson Chapel High School Homecoming Court. This past summer I attend the the Congress of Future Medical Leaders of America Award of Excellence Conference in Boston, MA. I just recently applied for 2024-2025 Delta Academy/Delta G.E.M.S
3. Preparedness for the Role. In what ways has your personal growth prepared you to be a role model as Homecoming Queen? It took a lot of hardwork & decication preparing myself for something I ereally wanted to become a part of. How would you use your maturity to navigate the responsibilities that come with this role? I would use my maturity & responsibilities to recognize students who are outstanding in the community.
