  • Find three polls on the public opinion of affrimitive actions from three different time periods (there must be at least 10 years between each poll). The polls MUST be about policy issues . Argue whether public opinion has changed on this issue or not. Explain why these polls are scientific and compare the polls to each other (wording of the question, possible answers, respondents, etc.). [Hint: Pew Research and Gallup are good sources for public opinion data on policy issues.]  Students must offer evidence for their arguments and must anticipate and respond to opposing view(s). This essay must be an Argumentation Essay. 

    You need at least five [5] quotations/paraphrases from five [5] different sources, and those quotations/paraphrases need correctly formatted in-text or parenthetical citations.  All citations must be in MLA format.
