Part 3 – Interview Questions
Please answer the following question that you most likely would be asked in an interview.
- Tell me about yourself?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Why should we hire you over other candidates?
- Describe how you should dress for an interview and what you should have with you.
Finally, anticipate one question they might ask you based on the job you chose??
A couple of very important things that you need to take into consideration when you’re answering interview questions.
- Question number one: Tell me about yourself. This is actually somewhat of a trick question. The temptation is to talk about yourself personally, but with the recruiter is really looking for is tell me about your experience and your education and how it relates to this job that you’re being interviewed for.
- Question number two on strengths and weaknesses. It’s easy to stress what your strengths are, but you should really give an example, and when you mention your weakness, don’t just leave your weakness hanging there; make sure you tell the recruiter how you have overcome that weakness. What are you doing to mitigate that weakness? If you do not do that they’re going to think you still have it, and you may not get the job.
- Question number three: Why should we hire you? Not only should you describe what might set you apart from the other candidates, but this is a great opportunity to demonstrate what you know about the company, and why you would want to work for that company. This is where you can show that your mission and vision, is the same as there’s.
- FINALLY, Remember the goal of answering interview questions is NOT just answering the question, it is selling yourself! Every answer should include some additional information about you and what you have to offset’s that you want them to know, and that will raise their interest in you!
