The focus of this essay will be to examine a problem from your field of study, looking at the causes/effects of this problem and perhaps comparing it to past problems that might be in similar fields.

How will you organize this essay? It’s a five-paragraph essay, so you will have an introduction that ends with a three-point thesis, then three body paragraphs discussing each of the three points, then a conclusion in which you offer a forward-thinking idea.
